Globe Telecom Chief Operating Advisor Peter Bithos joins the esteemed roster of senior telecom leaders around the world as newly-appointed member of the Products and Services Management Committee (PSMC), a highly-influential unit of the GSMA, an organization of over 800 mobile operators in over 220 countries worldwide.
As member of the PSMC, Bithos will provide guidance to the GSMA Board and Executive Committee on its strategy and vision as well as help drive GSMA’s operational activities in both technology and the area of products and services.
Bithos’ nomination was approved by the GSMA Board Governance Committee, looking at his credentials that include leading Globe through three (3) years of revenue market share gain. He was instrumental in steering growth and profitability of the company’s mobile and broadband businesses with an innovative product portfolio and a sound strategy to drive superior customer experience.

Bithos was appointed as Chief Operating Advisor of Globe in November last year to look after the core Consumer business as well as the new emerging lines of businesses in and around the consumer space. In December, he was named I.T. Executive of the Year by Cyberpress, an organization of information technology (I.T.) journalists from the print and online media in the country.
